Prompt: I enjoyed taking my personal experience into words that people can read or understand. I had to think deeply about how I felt so I could shorten my thoughts and help them come through clearly. The assignment made me think how much in depth a poet is, compressing the deepest thoughts into the most beautiful piece of art. I struggled to condense my thoughts proving poetry to be complex.

Summary: I worked on making my own poem and adding literacy devices.

Reflection: My appreciation for poets and poetry has extended. Their mind and knowledge plays on words that are magnificent.
